We are now on our summer schedule with one worship service on Sunday mornings at 9:30. No Sunday School during the summer months.

Fellowship hour following Sunday morning worship. If you can provide punch and cookies, please sign up in the social hall.

Thrivent Builds is excited to announce its 2010 Habitat for Humanity project. The project is a remodel of a home at 226 Horton Street in Lansing. A lot of work needs to be done including doors, windows, drywall, etc. Please call the church office or Rick Wyble is you have questions. A sign up sheet is available int he social hall.
 
Financial Peace University will be offered again this Fall. Classes will start on Monday, August 23, and will run from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. To enroll or seek additional information, please contact the church office or Joe Shreffler.
Lutheran Disaster Response is serving the needs of those in Haiti. Contribute to this cause by making checks payable to BLC and earmark �Haiti Response�. Thrivent members can donate through a Thrivent website. Thrivent will match $1 for every $2 donated. Donations are being received at http://sitelinkers.thrivent.com/v_16b7ed447062/.
Valet Parking is now offered on Sunday mornings. If you want the Valet service, drive up under the overhang. They will then escort you to the door, park your car and return the keys to you. After church they will get the keys from you and retrieve your vehicle. Watch for the vests marked with �Valet Parking� to identify them.

Our Youth Group travelled to New Orleans during the third week in July, 2009 to attend the National Youth Gathering. Please click to view photos from their trip.
Bethlehem now has a group on Facebook which is an online networking site. Please consider joining the Bethlehem Group.
Nursery volunteers needed! We are seeking 10 new volunteers to help us in the nursery. This will allow us to schedule our volunteers once every few months instead of monthly. Please sign up on the volunteer sheet in the social hall. Please contact Carrie Wheeler if have any questions.
Fair Trade Coffee sales. We are selling LWR/Equal Exchange Fair Trade Coffee in the Social Hall after the 9:30am service. Sales will take place on the second Sunday of each month. Products include regular and decaf drip grind coffee and hot chocolate. Prices range from $5.25 to $6.50 for a 12 oz. package. The coffee and hot chocolate are being sold at cost plus the cost of shipping.
Children's bulletins are available each Sunday from the ushers. These special bulletins help our children better understand God's Word in today's lessons.
Food Bank substitutes are needed! If you can work in the food bank 3 hours per week, please call Jack and Sandy Midgley. If you can work on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, we would sure like to have your help.
