Activities for Our Youth

Luther League, our youth group for High School aged youth, usually meets for about two hours on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, after worship at 10:30am.

Our year often begins with our Annual Youth Retreat in September. The youth also host a dinner in December for 60+ members of our congregation before our Sunday School Christmas Program. Every year in December we attend the Michigan Gathering. Click for more details on this event. Other highlights of our year include a Youth Sunday (with services plan, organized and led by our youth) and the 30 Hour Famine.

Every three years will also attend the ELCA Youth Gathering. In 2012 it was held in New Orleans, LA, and 2015 will be in Detroit, MI!!

2nd Breakfast is our high school Sunday School class. Our curriculum engages youth in special projects designed to stretch their faith as they learn and grow in service to our church, our community and our world. (And there are always DONUTS!)
