The Board of Congregational Care serves the members of Bethlehem.

 

  Highlights of the service this Board provides include:

• New Member Luncheons - Creates an opportunity for new members to meet each other and meet current members

• New Member Gift Bags - Each new member receives a welcome package containing a coffee mug, the most recent BELC cookbook, crosses and Bible verse bookmarks for the kids and other goodies.

• New Member Sponsor Program - This helps new members become acquainted with the traditions of Bethlehem, the worship services and the many ways to become an active member who is involved with the BELC Family.

• Care Notes Ministry - Brochures that address daily challenges as we walk in our Christian life.

• Welcome Center/Information Corner - The table is positioned in the lobby. There you will find scriptural information, The Living Lutheran magazine, Portals of Prayer booklets, general information on BELC and informational flyers on current events.

• Prayer Books - sent to our members and members of their families who are in our country's service. 

• Card Ministry - Cards and notes are mailed to members for various reasons; those who have been confirmed, are graduates and those grieving the loss of a family member are a few examples.
